March 5 Friday, 1943

ToDay is the Birthday of ___________

Fair and warm. Wind south.

I received a card from Bob. He is in College in Philadelphia and is to be there for the next 5 months.

Put in the whole day burning up rubbish on the hill.

Stopped in to see Eric and Vick after dinner.

A lot of snow melted today and I hope more will tomorrow.

Tracked the pheasants again. No sign of any foxes around now.

I guess the fourteen that were killed this winter has thinned them out.
