June 22 Tuesday, 1943

Today is the birthday of

Fair and hot wind So.

Boy was it hot today 92 in the shade.

Thelma went off this morning with a gang to weed on Rusty Round’s bog.

Worked in the garden some.

Eleanor went over to town tonight.

We had a hot old thunder storm this evening, and a nice rain.  There were some places struck for the alarm blew in 14.

I have the finest beans and tomatoes up on the  (hill?) that I have seen this year.

I saw Boyer’s truck down at the Beach Club so I expect he is to do the painting there this year.

  1. I don’t remember the fire horn box numbers anymore been too long. I doubt they sound the horn anymore, a box number Benny’s Auto (7188) someone would have blown up the horn. : )
“I saw Boyer’s truck down at the Beach Club so I expect he is to do the painting there” My Dad worked for Boyer and may have been the painter.
