ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and cool, wind SoW.

Saw Mrs. H this morning and she had a letter from Martha and one from Harry.

I went over to the river after dinner to fish. All I caught was a small mud turtle. I was in Fred Moon’s boat but had to get out as two of his friends had borrowed it.

There was a pair of kingfishers having better luck than I.

Went over and took a look at the sand bank but no luck.

Mary told me she is leaving for good Monday.

Eleanor worked half a day today.

Milt Vaughn, Margaret Holman, and Jubbie were over here tonight playing cards.
