ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and cool wind East.

This morning Damon called me up and his wife, Peter, and I went up to the swamp and they picked about seven quarts each and I got a heaping water pail full.

After dinner, Thel and I took a walk over to Archie’s. They wanted to go down to the camp to fish so we all went and all Archie and I got was four small red perch.

Stopped in at Walder’s and borrowed his minnow [sein] then I met his sister in law’s husband. He is younger than I had expected him to be. He and Walder went after the stripers. Got nothing.

The girls and Milt went sailing in the little sailboat.
