ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and cool, wind east.

Eleanor took me over to drill tonight. She had to do some typing in the supps by room.

We marched over to Stephen’s Field and I gave a demonstration on how to use a granade sling. After we all tried it I threw a stone out into the harbor at least twice as far as anyone else.

Chet and I worked five hours on H.H.’s tennis court, putting it in shape to play on.

Thel went swamp blueberrying with her father, mother, and Jubbie. Thel said that she picked seven quarts.

Mrs. Driscoll came in and made a call just at supper time.

Winston Churchill his wife and daughter are in Canada.
