ToDay is the Birthday of

Rain on island, Fair cool wind No.

Got up at 6:30 went down to the wharf and took the steamer.

Rained about 2/3 the way to Woods Hole.

Had breakfast at Woods Hole and got the car, arrived home a few minutes before noon.

Ate lunch and went up on the hill. Mary Gallagher was there, she said she is getting Martha ready to go back to school.

Mrs. H got a telegram from Utah from Bud, he is on his way home on 30 days leave.

Stopped in to see Eric. Howard’s sister in law was there.

Bill Auger came in to see me, he was over to see me two years ago and he was a private then, now he is a Sargent. He has been down at Camp Devens for the last three years.
