Cleaned the rugs and took off the porch screens.

Lots of robins, flickers and blue jays.

Thelma and Ski worked up at the store.

Eleanor called up this noon.

N.Y. Yankees won the worlds series from the Cards today.

Childs came up with a poultry order and didn’t know what to do with it.

Thel said she and Cozette went down to Nonas and they are going to help her out for a while.

This is the first time I have seen ice this fall.

Nine more days till the hunting season opens on game birds. Hope I have some good luck this fall.

Eleanor got a letter fr0m George, he expects to be moved to California.
