ToDay is the Birthday of

Fair and cool, wind So.W.

Carl Bolt and I was up on the golf links before sunrise. From there we went up to Brigg’s and hunted till noon. From there we went up to Liggets and stayed the rest of the afternoon, saw one partridge. Makes four I have seen this season.

The McNeal kid caught a fox this morning, Carl Sherman said Roddie has caught 17 this fall.

Spider Hadaway and Dick Adams caught 30 muskrat and 3 mink in the river.

Called up Fred and he doesn’t expect to be able to fix the bath on the hill Friday.

“Nothing is so infectious as example.” Charles Kingsley
