ToDay is the Birthday of
Fair and mild, wind N.W.
Got the house ready for the folks, cleaned up brush.
Got a X-mas card from Harvey’s wife, and a birthday card from Dave.
Wonder how the deer hunters made out today.
Thel went over to Archie’s tonight.
Dave said Davene started to walk on the day she was 9 months old.
Eleanor said that George has received two boxes through the mail that had had the things stolen from them.
President Roosevelt paid a visit to Malta today.
Thel and Ski worked up at the store today.
One more day of deer hunting.
Ski’s lamb is looking fine now, improved since she put him on grain feed.
“Never judge a work of art by its defects.” Washington Allston
Note: The store where Thel and Ski occasionally worked is now Bramhall’s Country Store. There has been some kind of business – usually a family-owned store – on that spot since 1828. When I was a kid growing up in Chiltonville, that’s where you went for penny candy and ice cream.
I added some photos to the photos page, and we could use some help identifying different people. Thanks!
The man with Marie is her brother Carl Covell not my father. wish it was
