200th day – 166 days follow

70 Fair

Sweet corn

Saw Bud and Priscilla and Mrs. Greenwood, they are all looking fine.

Got a letter from Dave this noon and a check for $100, one half of the loan.

Had a nice chat with Bud and the family on the back porch.

I [picked a bunch of sweet corn tonight and there is quite a lot of bores in it/

Gee if it would only rain, I just don’t see how the garden stuff stays alive.

Tillie has had the offer of a job out in Baltimore and expects to go out there to try it out.

Thel, Ski and I went to the pictures tonight and for a change both pictures were good.

Saw Martha H and George and Bertha Lee.

Quite cool tonight and the stars are beautiful.
