230th day – 136 days follow

Hot

I rowed around the pond once trowling and got nothing.

We started for home at 4 – PM and I got out up on the hill and watered some of my plants and they sure did need it.

Called up Finney about the laundry hamper.

There was a fire up on the pine Hills about 7 PM.

I took a walk up to Driscolls to see where the fire was and Charlie Fay, his wife, and their youngest boy was there.

Martha had to show me her vegetable garden.

I got a letter from Dave today, he and Dottie and Davene are planning to come down and use the camp the last week of this month.

Mardy Hathaway got home last night from Baltimore.
