291st day – 75 days follow

Marie would have been fifty two today had she lived.

Worked on the trees all day and am beginning to see daylight.

Stopped in to see Eric this noon and gave him a pop gun.

Got a letter from Jo Brew. he is going to use Harry’s pipe but not the photo.

Stopped in to see if Eric had found out how to fire his gun and caught Walder teaching him how.

Rusty Rounds and Irene were in after sweaters tonight and I loaned him my copy of Faulkner’s String Site.

Helen Covel was here all the evening.

I wrote a letter to Geo Step.

Fred Moon was up and he finished painting the barn door.
