312th day – 54 days follow

This is election day. Thel, Eleanor and I went over this morning and cast our ballot, my vote was no. 957. Thel said her ballot was over 800.

Caught another mouse in Mrs. H upstairs closet, that makes all of them deerfoot.

I got a letter from Dave today, he said they expected to come down here next Saturday to be here at Bobbie’s wedding.

Mr. H called up at 11-15 PM to see if we knew how the election was coming along, he was on his way down from Boston.

Thel and I stayed up till 12 listening to the returns.
