355th day – 11 days follow

Fair and cold all day.

Dug snow all day up on the hill.

My check and Bonus came today I had a 5:00 raise on this check.

Thel made lot of English muffins for Clara Litchfield.

Thel and Ski have gone to town to buy xmas presents.

Got a letter from Mrs.H at noon and she wanted to know why the tree and shades had not arrived. I sent them by Finney’s express a week ago Monday.

Took a bus over to the Armory and we had machine gun drill.

Rode home as far as J.B. s corner with Deane, Paul, and Clarkie.

  1. I remember Grammy’s English muffins- they were incredible! As were her pies, cakes, etc. She made pies for Bert’s Restaurant for years- they were that good!
