10th day – 355 days follow

Temp 4

Clear and very cold.

Burned brush all day and it sure is damn hard work pulling limbs out from under 7 or eight inches of frozen snow.

This afternoon I took a run over to H.H. greenhouse and it sure did make me feel good to see green plants and flowers in bloom.

Tom Doten was up with the truck and got my rubbish.

Took the bus over to the Armory tonight.

I had a whack at drilling the Co.

Mr Packard gave me a ride tight all the way home.

The schools and movies are to be closed for two weeks on account of the epidemic of scarlet fever.

Thel went over to town to her club.

The roads are very slippery now.
