58th day – 307 days to follow

Harry Hornblower

Fair 38

Fair but windy, west.

Saw Phil Chandler, he told me he expects to move up about April 6.

Saw the sparrow hawk twice today.

Rained hard all night last night and took off a lot more ice and snow.

Worked up on the apple trees.

Saw Fred Dreese and Chet Malaguti in Finney’s truck.

Spring must be on the way for all the women that have babies were out this afternoon.

The flock of crows were up on the hill today.

Thel and Ski went to the show this afternoon, the show was When the Bell Tolled.

Received a nice long air mail letter from Harry Hornblower from France. He said he has a fine pipe he is sending me.
