Jubbie and I raked alla afternoon.
I set the glass in Claire’s garage.
Bill came up after dinner and he and I went up to the girl scout camp at Long pond and we dug in a workshop site for a couple of hours and it was a very small site with plenty of flakes and some stock but only a few broken pieces of broken points.
So we went down to G.H.P and hunted the sand banks. I found one fine white quartz point, evidently found and lost again by someone else.
We stopped at Ship Pond and had no luck there.
I had a V mail letter from Harry today.
Tonight Thel and I went up to C.F. Shermans to the M.A.S. there were 25 there.
Three new members came in.
We voted to call it Massasoit Chapter.
Ripley Bullen was there and he gave a very interesting lecture on European stone culture from the beginning.
We had a clam chowder for a feed.
Ripley said Fred Johnson was very pleased with the luck he had in Alaska last summer.
