193rd day – 172 days to follow

Cold and fair.

Bill was up on the hill today and he borrowed my long handheld saw and pruner to take down to W. I . Pond to trim up some trees.

Jubbie and I mowed and cleaned up in the hollow where the grape vines are.

The kids up at Herishalls have a pony and Mr SOutherland who lives at Phil CHandlers takes care of it.

After supper George and I went down to see Bob Tevernelli’s collection of fire arms, he has a lot of shotguns, rifles, pistols, and revolvers.

On the way home we stopped at Russ Harlows to see Mrs Sherwood, we stayed there a couple of hours.

She told me Sid was over in the Plymouth Infantry.

She has a bunch of grandsons in the army and navy.
