Light fog in AM and hot.

Sawed and split kindling today.

The hummingbirds are still here.

Picked 1 ½ bushels of  tomatoes up on the hill.

Picked some lima beans and four mellons in the garden, cut some corn stalks and gave them to Phil’s cattle, he gave me a good cabbage.

The striped bass are biting fine.

Mrs Harry H went to Boston today and Mrs Ralph is going tomorrow.

Eleanor got a letter from George he is still in Miss.
