4th day- 361 days follow

Fair and warm.

Went up on the hill this A.M.

Mrs. H. and I went down to JB’s corner and got a quart of chubs, then we went up to Howlands Pond.  There was pretty poor ice about three inches thru the middle of the pond.

I put in 10 traps, and Mrs. H. got one small pickerel right off.  Then we came  home to dinner.  After dinner we went back and Mrs. H. took a ride up to the Forge Pond.

While she was there I caught two more pickerel.  We fished all afternoon and got nothing more.

George, Shrimp and Eleanor went up to their house and put in a kitchen stove.

Ski worked up at the store today.
