When I went up on the hill this A.M. Harry wanted me to go up with him to look over his house site again. We did and he is very pleased with it.
Saw Pete Chouteau burning brass. Stopped at the Wm Henry farm and hunted for arrowheads but found nothing.
Harry took one of the Whipples swans (dead) out of the brook just below where the zinc mill used to be. From there we went up to the Blanchard Place to see how Bill Brewster is fixing it up.
Knoodson had a grass fire get away from him in back of the King house.
Beat Harry at a game of horseshoes.
Jubbie and I piled up wood and sawed up some with a crosscut.
Ski went to work tonight.
After supper Thel and I went over to Archies and spent the evening. Beat Archie 4 games of cribbage.
Gave Thel a new card table and cover for an ann. Present.
The fire trucks went up Cliff St. a few minutes ago.
