86th day- 279 days follow

(Wild Geese)

Fair and warm wind So.W.

Raked and rolled all day.

Jubbie worked today so did Ski.

Phil Chandler died early this A.M>  I am sorry to see him taken off.  He was a good neighbor and I liked Phil a lot.  His funeral will be Saturday afternoon.

Just before supper time Harry came in and he and I took a ride up on the golf links to look at the location he has picked out for a home site.  It is over in back of the old Jo. Boutin place on the knoll  the grandfather red cedar tree in on.

We went down to see Chris Swift but could not find him.

After supper Thel, Ski and I took a ride up to Geo. and Eleanors and played 9 games of cribbage.  Geo. and I took the rubber.

We took Silva home.  He has been here for two days.

Tonight is the first time this year that moths have been flying around.
