143rd day- 222 days follow

Foggy. Warm.

The women were up on the hill today.

Painted in the barn.

After work I stopped at Mr.Dutton’s and put in a screen and took off three shutters.

Bill Whiting came in while I was eating supper and we went out to the dig.

There was quite a crowd there, one fellow from Carver.

The grand opening will be tomorrow.  I hope some of them have some good finds, just to keep up their courage.

But I am afraid that some of the beginners will get discouraged if it is like other digs.
