Sky still smokey

The Canadian smoke is just as thick today, and it has spread as far as England, 5000 miles from Canada.

Jub trimmed the hedges, and we worked in the barn on the wood pile.

I hear that the Engstroms have a television set now.

Bill Whiting came up on the hill at noon.  He came down to the house and I let him read the article I wrote for the M.A.S. meeting.

I ate supper over with Ski + Bud tonight.

The grey squirrels and the robins are having a great time on the hill eating the dogwood berries.
