70th day – 296 days follow

30           Fair

Joseph C Lincoln and Irving Cobb died today. Lincoln was 74 years old.

Raked up rubbish today.

Eddie Hathaway arrived home today from Penn.

Stopped in to see Pic and Eric. Pic told me she saw the Dr today and he told her that she will probably have to go up to the hospital tomorrow or Sunday.

When I got home tonight I looked out the dining room window just in time to see the largest hawk I have seen yet. It was after one of Percy’s hens, missed it and lit in Driscoll’s willow tree. Took my gun and ran out but it flew before I got in range.

Thel and Ski went up to Grandma Holmans to a Bible meeting.

Bill Whiting called me up tonight and had a talk about the Bulletin.
