73rd day – 293 days follow

35           Fair

A man came down from Boson and measured up the living room furniture for slip covers, he just left when in came Russ Snow to get one of the same chairs to put a slip cover on. I didn’t let him have it.

Finished painting the screens this morning.

Thel drove her mother and Father up to see Roy Holman before he is called into the draft.

George was over here today, he has a bad cold.

After work I took a walk over to the sand bank and dug in a little but didn’t find anything.

On the way back I saw Fred Moon. He had a much better winter than he had last year.

Stopped at the store and got some tobacco, saw Mary and Conrad there.

Met Erma on Cliff Street.

Margaret Holman called up Ski, she has got back from camp where her husband was down south.

Went over to Pic’s tonight, Eleanor and George were there.
