111th day – 255 days follow

46        Fair

Cleaned up the fence at the foot of the drive.

The lawn mowers came down from Boston.

Worked on the flower beds all day

Thelma went to Boston shopping with Helen Griffin.

When I got home I spread the hen dressing and boy does it stink.

Percy was painting on his boat.

Sam Smith is working up at Whipples.

I saw female Marsh hawk between here and Walders.

Got a good long letter from Dave today, eight pages.

Feels as if the wind might come in sometime tonight and have a frost in the morning.
