214th day – 147 days follow

Temp 99 Hot

Yesterday and today sure are hot.

Picked some of my second row of sweet corn.

Gee but this is some hot day.

This afternoon Thel and I took a ride down to the camp.

We went fishing before dinner and no luck at all.

After we had supper it came up a sharp thunderstorm, lots of thunder and lightning, but very little raidm

Thel was pretty scared especially the last bolt of lightning which must have struck very close to us as I was barefoot and all of my toes tingled.

There was another wedding up at Whipple’s chapel, one of the Fry girls.

Dick Greenwood, his wife Mary and her baby are up on the hill for the wedding.
