262nd day – 104 days follow

Harry, his father, Martha and I went down to the Beach Club to see if there were any eels there were none.

Came back up on the hill and saw the whole family off. Harry and his family are going back to Washington.

Raked rubbish and mowed lawns.

Dug some potatoes and picked some dry beans tonight.

Thel, Ski, and Eleanor took a walk over to Picks after supper.

Percy Finney and I talked for a while in the garden.

Phil Chandler has three heffers in Ira’s old field, Ski has been down making friends with them.
