33rd day – 332 days to follow

Temp 18

Sparrowhawk

Fair and cold, high wind.

Took my axes and crosscut saw up to the Vickery Orchard and started to cut up some of the hurricane apple trees.

The Community Club is going to pay part of Helen Downies Hospital bill.

The apple trees are frozen so they chop like iron.

This afternoon I went into Ed Holmans for a drink of water

I hit a lump of cement when I was sawing up a tree. It was some Dick Cox and I plugged up holes with.

I saw a sparrowhawk up on the hill this afternoon and a Downey Woodpecker in the orchard.

Thel and Eleanor and the gremlin went over to Picks.
