202nd day – 163 days to follow

White Island Pond

After dinner Thel and I rode down to Bill’s Camp at White Island Pond. We got there about 2 PM and Bill and I went bass fishing and Thel and Lottie went down to Wareham.

Bill and I had poor luck, all we got was one pickerel and a half dozen large red perch.

Eleanor and George came home from the camp and are going back the first of the week.

After supper we went to bed (early).

White Island is really a beautiful pond, full of points and Islands bats and channels, and it is not a very deep pond.
