18th day- 347 days follow

Moderate and partly cloudy.

Dragged out some brush in the grove.  The handy man was up this A.M.

Eleanor went up to the Hertsall house and found that one of the water pipes had frozen and burst.

Chased the red squirrel away from the feed box.

I see that Mr. Short has started on the roof to tear Ida’s barn down.

Spit snow a little this afternoon.

The two grey squirrels were up on the back porch after food from the bird box.

Burned up the rubbish when I got home.

Saw a poem in the Old Colony Memorial “The Rock”.  It was written by Dave.

George and Eleanor have gone to a high school play tonight.
