172nd day- 193 days follow

Hot and sticky.

Mrs. H., Martha, and Mrs. Greenwood went up to Boston.

Went over to town and paid my real estate tax, bought some fishing tackle and some moccasins and stockings.

Saw Dr. Wild over town.  Eleanor and Marie were over there too.

This afternoon Thel, Pick, and Eleanor, and their kids were up on the hill.

After supper Thel and I went up to May’s and got some eggs for us, and some for May.  Then we went over to Archie’s and stayed there for a couple of hours.

We had a small thunder shower tonight.

We stopped at the corner for awhile and watched the fellows playing ball.
