336th day- 29 days follow

Snow on the ground when I got up and started snowing again about 7:30 A.M.

George’s brother stopped for me at 7:25. He had a fellow with him by the name of Holmes.

We went and picked up George, then went up and hunted around Chris Swift’s old bog, saw the track of one deer.

Saw the most remarkable pair of stones I have ever seen yet.  It is a base stone about five feet wide, and four feet high, the base flat and perpendicular on the top is a two foot perfectly round stone that must be movable for it has worn a saucer like depression in the base stone.

We rode around for awhile, then went up to the back side of the Barker bogs and hunted till 1:30 P.M.  Then we found that the car gas line was frozen up. Jo and Holmes walked about 4 miles and found a fellow to tow us to Shaw’s garage in town.

Thel and Ski went up to Brockton to buy Xmas presents.
