Jubbie finished school today, so he was able to work a whole afternoon.  Mowed, raked, and trimmed all day. Mrs. H. went to Boston this A.M. Archie and I worked in our gardens after supper tonight. Still slews of wood ticks around.  The striped bass are not in here very thick yet.

162nd day- 203 days follow Fair and warm, wind So. The Frasers are moving some of their stuff down to the other side of this house. The buckwheat I planted up on the hill is coming up fine. This has been the poorest season I have ever seen for flower and vegetable seed coming up.
